Description of CME Course
Treatment-resistant schizophrenia can create a high disease burden for some patients, making it challenging for all involved to navigate a good outcome. Such cases require physicians to regard symptom eradication and treatment success as the same. This commentary on a case considers a palliative psychiatry approach grounded in the well-being of patients and the inclusion of all stakeholders in decision-making processes.
