Description of CME Course
When medi-spas first appeared, spurred by advances in laser technology, they were largely unregulated. Now, many states are requiring medi-spas to be associated with a physician as an owner, supervisor or contractor. Offers are being made, and physicians of many medical specialties are responding. It may seem like an attractive proposition, but it comes with many provisos and administrative burdens of its own. This monograph is directed at physicians associated with or considering becoming associated with a medi-spa.
Diplomate Engagement
Pre-and Post-test results are provided to diplomate and an evaluation survey is issued upon completion of the course. A follow-up post-activity survey is also issued 3-4 months after completion that asks what practice changes have been made.
