Description of CME Course
This activity is comprised of five multiple-choice questions based on the content of an AMA Journal of Ethics podcast about how patients can be harmed by BMI surgical guidelines and what to do if it happens to you. The featured guests are Astrid Floegel-Shetty, MA, a graduate of the Loyola Marymount University Bioethics Institute; Kratika Mishra, an MD/MBA candidate at the University of Southern California Keck School of Medicine in Los Angeles; and Ragen Chastain, a writer, researcher, and speaker whose work focuses on weight stigma and weight-inclusive health care. The target audience for this activity includes clinicians of all specialties as well as other health care professionals. These interviews were recorded on February 24, 2023, and March 3, 2023.
