Description of CME Course
Major Depressive Disorder (MDD) is difficult to diagnose, and often undertreated at LGH. In addition, scales that measure depression (ie, PHQ-9) are a not being used consistently. Derail Depression Treatment on Track is a multiplatform quality improvement program designed to: Promote annual PHQ-9 screening. Encourage patient self-reporting between visits with the Derail Depression Patient App. Increase referrals to mental health professionals for patients not responding to treatment.
