Description of CME Course
Abuse or neglect can happen to any patient. Victims of abuse and neglect suffer in isolation and fear, often without being identified and afraid to disclose information about their circumstances. The presentation of such patients is seldom clear, and detection usually involves piecing together various clues. As a healthcare practitioner and hospital staff member, you are in a position to help patients who are experiencing abuse and neglect.
